Utes in the Pros: Week 8 - University of Utah Athletics

SALT LAKE CITY – It's another weekend full of Pro Utes in action throughout the NFL as 30 Utah Football alumni are on team rosters entering Week 8, with 23 players in that group on active rosters.

The slate kicks off Thursday night with Devin Lloyd and the Carolina Panthers set to face Green Bay inside Lambeau Field.

On Sunday, rookie Spencer Fano and the Cleveland Browns will be in Pittsburgh as the sides battle for the top spot in the AFC North. Out in the West, the Broncos host Kansas City with a chance to climb into first place in the division.

In the NFC, cornerback Zemaiah Vaughn has helped the Minnesota Vikings to a 6-0 start, putting the club as the only remaining undefeated team.

In addition to the field, former Utah Utes are making their mark on NFL sidelines as well. Former quarterback Brian Johnson (2004-08) is now on the Los Angeles Rams' staff as a senior offensive assistant, while Utah signal-caller Mike McCoy (1992-94) has joined the Las Vegas Raiders as assistant head coach.
