SALT LAKE CITY – Marking his third appearance at the Men's Swim and Dive NCAA Championship meet,
Elias Petersen will represent the University of Utah swim and dive program on the one-meter and three-meter springboard events beginning on Thursday in Federal Way, Wash. at the Weyerhauser King County Aquatic Center.
Marking their fifth year with four or more divers at NCAAs, senior Holly Waxman, junior Kathryn Grant, freshman Callie Eaglestone and junior
Elias Petersen will be representing Utah on the big stage. The women's National Championships took place March 19-March 22, and now it's Petersen's turn to report for the men's side, with the meet beginning March 26.

"We're looking to close out one of our all-time best seasons with a bang," said head dive coach
Richard Marschner. "Elias has become a very steady and consistent diver and that should serve him well at NCAAs. He nearly broke through at last year's meet and I think he's primed to make a big impact this year."
Previously at NCAAs
- Petersen earned a place on both springboard events after placing in the top-six on the one-meter and three-meter during the Zone E competition.
- This marks Petersen's third year qualifying for the national competition on both springboard events.
- At the 2024 championship, the Malmo, Sweden native placed 19th in the 1m and 24th in the 3m, both places are among the five highest finishes by a Utah diver in those events.
