PARK CITY, Utah – Due to weather conditions, and in the interest putting on fair and safe ski races, schedule changes have been announced for this weekend's Utah Invitational alpine races at the Utah Olympic Park.
With the change, all races are pushed back one day and now have the following schedule:
- Saturday, Feb. 8 – Giant Slalom*
- Sunday, Feb. 9 – Giant Slalom
- Monday, Feb. 10 – Slalom
All races will still begin at 9 a.m. each day with free admission on site at the UOP's Spencer F. Eccles Olympic Mountain Center.

*The Saturday race is an extra RMISA Qualifier race and technically not part of the Utah Invitational. In simple terms, this means that no team scores will be kept in Saturday's race,
but individual results do still count for the athletes toward individual qualification for the NCAA Championships.
Race officials and the teams will assess conditions again on Friday. Depending on that assessment, there is a slight chance the order of disciplines (giant slalom and slalom) may be adjusted. But as of now, nothing has changed with the disciplines; GS is on Saturday and Sunday with slalom on Monday. Regardless of any changes that could happen with the disciplines, we know for a fact that some form of racing is scheduled each day Saturday through Monday.
Any further updates will be announced on UtahUtes.com and through the @utahskiteam social media accounts.
