The 22nd-ranked Utah cross country team will compete at the NCAA Championships for the eighth time in program history on Saturday.
SALT LAKE CITY – The No. 22-ranked Utah cross country team heads back to Columbia, Mo., this weekend to compete in the NCAA Championships for the eighth time in program history on Saturday, Nov. 22, at Gans Creek Cross Country Course.
Jon Anderson will have the call alongside Carrie Tollefson starting at 8 a.m. (MDT) on ESPNU with the gun slated to go off at 8:20 a.m. (MDT) for the women's race.

Utah will send eight runners to the NCAA Championships with one serving as an alternate. From the eight, Josie Fale, Emily Junginger, Bri Rinn and Millie Wilcox will be making their first appearance at the championships. Kyla Martin and Lindsey Peters are appearing for the second time in their careers while Annastasia Peters and Erin Vringer will represent Utah for the third time at the NCAA Championships. Junginger marks the fourth-straight season the Utes have had a freshman run at the NCAA Championships and the 10th time overall.

LAST TIME OUT AT GANS CREEK
Earlier this season, the Women of Utah placed fifth as a team at the Gans Creek XC Course and was led by Annastasia Peters (19:57.1) – who recorded a mark of 19:57.1. Erin Vringer was Utah's second finisher, placing 32nd at 20:04.4. Kyla Martin posted a new PR time of 20:20.0 for 51st with Lindsey Peters right behind her in 52nd (20:20.3). Millie Wilcox was Utah's fifth and final scorer, placing 62nd at 20:27.5 in her first-ever 6k race.
