SALT LAKE CITY – Sixteen Utah Football alumni are on NFL active rosters as Week 9 kicks off, beginning with Thursday Night Football as Baltimore takes on Miami in a road matchup.
Seven games on Sunday's slate are expected to feature Pro Utes, with an overall total of 29 program alumni spread across the league—practice squads and IR included.

Bye this week: Cleveland (Mohamoud Diabate)
The Denver Broncos, with a trio of Pro Utes on the active roster plus Caleb Lohner contributing to the practice squad, sit 6-2 and atop the AFC West. Connor O'Toole and the Seattle Seahawks are in a tie for the NFC West lead at 5-2, while practice squad member Britain Covey has contributed to the NFC East-leading Philadelphia Eagles.
Utah continues to be represented in the pro coaching ranks with a pair of alumni on the sidelines. Alex Whittingham is in his eighth season in the Kansas City Chiefs organization and first as assistant defensive line coach, while Brian Johnson is in his second season as the Washington Commanders' assistant head coach and offensive pass game coordinator.
