1A FAR recognizes student-athlete graduates from 2024-25 with 3.80 GPA or higher
SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah celebrates 17 current and former student-athletes recognized this week for earning the 1A Faculty Athletics Representatives' Academic Excellence Award for 2024-25.

The 1A FAR Academic Excellence Award recognizes outstanding student-athletes for their significant accomplishments in the classroom while competing at the highest level of college sports. The Award is given annually to student-athletes who graduate with a cumulative GPA of 3.80 or above and have participated in at least two years of NCAA Intercollegiate athletics at a Football Bowl Subdivision institution.

The Award recipients, nominated by their institutions, are student-athletes from the 10 FBS conferences and the FBS independents. The full list of honorees can be found here.
