SALT LAKE CITY - Utah Swimming tuned up for the Deseret First Duel tomorrow with a 146-40 victory over the College of Idaho this evening.
"This was a great opportunity to help a team and for us to get different kids swimming a number of events," head coach
Joe Dykstra said. "We wanted to get race ready for tomorrow and I think we accomplished that with this meet."
The women's meet started with a successful relay as
Audrey Reimer,
Darby Wayner,
Emma Broome and
Aryanna Fernandes took the 200 medley relay in 1:43.47. Fernandes also rolled to victory in the 200 IM with a time of 2:06.88
Broome and Fernandes capped the evening by teaming with
Kenzie Ford and
Claire Jackson in the 200 free relay, winning in 1:37.66. Jackson went on to take the top spot in the 100 free in 53.55
Ianire Casarin was the only individual multi-event winner, taking the 50 free in the 24.32 and 100 breast in 1:05.68. Other winners for Utah tonight were

The Utes and Cougars start competition tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. in Don Reddish Pool
