The Basics: The Utah women's basketball program is set to host the Weber State Wildcats in its final home game of the non-conference season. The game will tip off on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. MT.

The Opponent: The Weber State Wildcats enter the game 3-4 overall this season with their three wins coming against La Verne (105-43), Incarnate Word (72-64) and UTEP (68-63). They have four players averaging in double digits, led by senior guard J'aiamoni Welch-Coleman, who is averaging 16.1 points, 5.7 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game. The Wildcats welcomed a new head coach this season with some Utah ties in Velaida Harris. Harris was on the Utah staff from 2009-15, starting as the director of operations before being promoted to assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.

Megan Huff scored 24 of her career high 28 points in the second half against the BYU Cougars, propelling the Utes to a 78-67 win over their in-state rival in front of 6,106 fans.
Dru Gylten also had a career-night, chipping in 17 points along with eight assists while freshman
Dre'Una Edwards notched her third double-double of the season with 12 points and 15 rebounds.
Utah vs. The Big Sky Conference: Utah's game against Weber State will mark the third Big Sky opponent for the Utes this season, defeating Idaho State 74-60 and Eastern Washington 95-51. The Utes are 145-23 all-time against current members of the Big Sky, including a 47-6 record against Weber State.
Sweep, Sweep: Utah swept the weekly Pac-12 awards this week by winning Pac-12 Player of the Week (
Megan Huff) and Freshman of the Week (
Dru Gylten). It was the first time in Utah history and just the fourth time in Pac-12 history that a team has swept the awards.
Bean Blocks: Standing at 5-8, senior
Erika Bean has tied her career-high in blocks twice this season, recording three against BYU and Eastern Washington. She is currently third on the team in blocks (9) and has led the team in the category 15 times in her career.
High Production:In Utah's eight games this season there have been four different leading scorers (ties included).

Huff Gets 28:Megan Huff scored a career-high 28 points in Utah's win over BYU. She scored 24 of her 28 total points in the second half and finished the game shooting 52-percent from the floor, the fifth time this season she has shot 50-percent or higher.
Dre's Got Boards:Dre'Una Edwards tied her career-high in rebounds with 15 against BYU, the third time this season she has had 10+ rebounds in a game.
20 for Huff: Megan Huff has scored in the 20-point range in five of Utah's eight games this season (tied for third in the Pac-12), including in the last three. She has 12 games as a Utes in the 20s and has scored in double digits in 30 of the 38 games she has played in at Utah, including all eight this season.
