Upcoming Event: Men's Tennis versus ITA Sectionals on November 6, 2025

SALT LAKE CITY - No. 58 Utah men's tennis won the deciding point in thrilling fashion to        earn a 4-3 win over UNLV this afternoon.
        
         In doubles play, Utah got off to a good start with the No. 1 pairing of Matt Cowley and Dan Little winning comfortably,        6-1, over Jakob Amilon and Ruben Alberts. The Utes snagged the point with Egbert Weverink and Freddie McGeehan winning at        the No. 3 spot, 6-2, over Charlie Croxford and Richard Solberg.
        
         UNLV quickly evened the score with Amilon taking a win in the No. 1 singles match, 6-2,        6-0 over Cowley. Parker McGuiness pushed        Utah back in front with a victory at the No. 5 spot, 6-4, 6-3 over Evaldo Neto.
        
         The Rebels evened the score as Adam Gage-Brown topped Weverink, 7-6, 7-6 at the No. 4 spot        but Dan Little pushed Utah back in front with a 7-6, 7-5 victory over Alberts.
        
         UNLV tied things for a third time as Solberg beat McGeehan, 6-3, 3-6, 6-0, and that set up        a stirring final match.
        
         David Micevski was the Ute        facing the pressure and he delivered with a resounding rally after dropping his first set,        6-1. He would take the next two sets, 7-6 and 6-4 to win the match for the home side.
        
         Utah is back in action tomorrow afternoon against Loyola Marymount. The first serve of        doubles play will be at 2 p.m.
