Upcoming Event: Men's Tennis versus Utah Invitational on October 3, 2025

Pocatello, ID - Utah men's tennis sophomores Santiago Sierra and Johan Jonhagen started the Idaho State Invitational off on the right track, rolling into the quarterfinals today.
Sierra, seeded No. 1, had a bye in the first round, but convincingly beat Landon Barlow (Weber State), 6-4, 6-3 in the 2nd round. He will face Kellen Bates (Montana State) in quarterfinal action on Saturday.
Jonhagen beat Jake Flowers (Idaho State), 6-2, 6-1 in the 1st round, followed by yet another impressive performance beating No. 2 seeded Alexander Flink (Montana State) 6-2, 6-2. Next up for the Ute is Sebastian Edin (Idaho State).
The two sophomores survived a scare in doubles play, but came up on top defeating Weber State's Hintze/Yin, 7-5. They will square off on Saturday with James/Edgecombe (Montana State) to fight for a spot in the finals.
Singles and doubles play continues tomorrow in Pocatello, Idaho.
