WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - University of Utah Women's Tennis opens the 2013 season by heading to Williamsburg, Va. for the 21st annual Tribe Invitational.
The event will run Friday through Sunday and include singles and doubles draws of eight. It will be played at three locations around Williamsburg including the Millie West Tennis Facility, the Commons Tennis Counts and the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.
Competitors from Dartmouth, Harvard, Virginia, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Utah, VCU, William and Mary, Marshall and Wake Forest will be present at the tournament. The pack includes nine nationally-ranked singles players, including Utah's Tereza Bekerova (62) and Sara Pham (66), as well as four nationally-ranked doubles teams with Utah's Paige Miles and Bekerova ranked No. 18.
