Putilina Named All Pac-12 Honorable Mention

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.- Senior Anastasia Putilina of the University of Utah women's tennis team was named All Pac-12 Conference Honorable Mention, Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott announced last week.
"This is another well deserved accolade for Anastasia," head coach Mat Iandolo said. "It is great to know she competed well against many of the players on the first and second teams."
Putilina went 5-5 in Pac-12 singles action at the No. 1 position, including wins over second-team All Pac-12 members Denise Dy of Washington and Liudmila Vasilieva of Washington State. The Ute was also named the Pac-12 Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of April 2-8.
Putilina will finish out her career at the NCAA Singles Championships May 23-28 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga.
