Utah Women's Tennis Slated for SDSU Fall Classic

SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah women's tennis team heads to San Diego, Calif., to participate in the SDSU Fall Classic at the Aztec Tennis Center, Friday through Sunday.
In singles competition, junior Callie Craig faces Andjela Nemcevic of Washington Friday in the first round of the white flight, while junior Sarah Pham will take on San Diego's Laura Antonana-Iriarte in the first round of the red flight. Junior Lucia Kovarcikova battles Michela Casanova of San Diego, while sophomore Natasha Smith faces Montana's Irina Constantinide Friday in the grey flight.
In doubles play, junior Elena Najera-Salas teams up with Smith in the first round of the black fight to take on Monica Pezzotti and Maria Jose-Cardona of Kansas, while Pham and Craig face Washington's Grace Ysidora and Capucine Gregoire in the red flight.
