TULSA, Okla. - The University of Utah men's tennis team wrapped up qualifying play at the ITA All-American Championships Tuesday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
After falling in the first round of qualifying play Monday, sophomore Rafael Davidian netted a singles consolation victory, topping Johan Backstrom of the University of Mississippi, 6-2, 6-4.
Utah's 48th-ranked senior Dmytro Mamedov and No. 37 sophomore Slim Hamza return to action for the Utes Thursday in the main draw of the ITA All-American Championships.
