WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--
Utah kicker Coleman Petersen has been named the Pac-12 Special Teams Player of the Week after kicking the game-winning field goal in overtime against Washington State last Saturday. It is the second weekly conference award for the junior walk-on from Sandy, Utah. He also won Pac-12 special team honors on Oct. 17 for his efforts in Utah's win over Pittsburgh.
Petersen made field goal attempts of 33, 45 and 38 yards in Utah's win over WSU, with the 38-yarder coming on a snowy field in overtime. He also made all three of his extra point attempts.
