LAS VEGAS - The University of Utah men's tennis team wrapped up their fall season at the ITA Mountain Regional Friday at the Darling Tennis Center.
The No. 15-seeded team of sophomore Alejandro Medinilla and freshman Ace Matias fell in the doubles round of 16 to Weber State's Simon Unger and Oliver Good, 8-6.
In doubles consolation play, the two Ute doubles teams of junior Dmytro Mamedov and freshman Ben Tasevac as well as freshman Justin Archer and BYU's Dean Ormsby withdrew from their matches.
The Utes open their spring dual match season at the Eccles Tennis Center Jan. 21, 2012 in a double header against Weber State at 12 p.m., and Seattle University at 5 p.m.
