Utah has won 10 games for the third consecutive season (10-2). The Utes went 13-0 in 2008 and 10-3 in 2009.
Today's attendance was 45,272. That brings Utah's 2010 season home attendance average to 45,459, which ranks as the second-highest in school history behind 2008 (45,585 average). Utah's total attendance for six home games this season was 272,754.
Utah held BYU to just 65 yards rushing (1.8 yard average on 37 carries), including just four yards in the third quarter and 18 yards in the second half.

Eddie Wide led Utah in rushing with 18 carries for 73 yards. Wide has 1,979 career rushing yards to rank 11th at Utah. He has a chance to move past Keith Williams (2,002 yards from 1991-93) for 10th place in the bowl game.
Jereme Brooks led Utah with 72 receiving yards on three catches. He now has 1,838 career receiving yards to rank eighth at Utah. Today, he moved past Henry Lusk (1,807 yards from 1991-95) and Travis LaTendresse (1,782 yards from 2002-05).
DeVonte Christopher scored his team-best sixth receiving touchdown of the season on his only catch of the game (37 yards) in the third quarter.
Brandon Burton blocked the game-winning field goal attempt (42 yards) by Mitch Payne as time expired. It was the first blocked field goal of his career.
Burton had three pass breakups to give him a team-leading eight for the season. He now has 18 pass breakups for his career, tying for the ninth-best mark in school history.
Brian Blechen made his team-leading fourth interception of the season in the first quarter and had his fifth pass breakup in the second quarter. He also had a sack to give him 1.5 for the season.
Matt Martinez led the defense with 17 tackles, including two tackles for loss.
Chaz Walker was second on the team with 14 tackles, including a sack in the fourth quarter to give him two for the season.
Junior Tui'one returned after missing the last three games (injured calf). He had his first career fumble recovery in the third quarter.
Latu Heimuli had the first pass breakup of his career in the fourth quarter.
Sealver Siliga returned after missing last week's game (shin injury). He had seven tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss.
Neli A'asa (DT/TE) had his first career kickoff return for 18 yards in the third quarter.
Greg Bird had his first career fumble recovery in the fourth quarter on a BYU fumbled punt return.
Kendrick Moeai had his first career fumble recovery in the fourth quarter.
