Utah has won nine consecutive games for the fourth consecutive season (9-2). The Utes went 9-4 in 2007, 13-0 in 2008 and 10-3 in 2009.
San Diego State had 59 yards rushing. It is the sixth opponent that Utah has held under 100 yards rushing this year (Pittsburgh, New Mexico, San Jose State, Wyoming, Colorado State).

Brandon Burton made his second interception of the season in the second quarter. He has three career interceptions.
Matt Asiata scored his seventh rushing touchdown of the season in the fourth quarter on a 1-yard run. He had a game-high 87 yards rushing (19 carries).
Eddie Wide scored his 10th and 11th rushing touchdowns of the season during the game. He had a 16-yard rush in the second quarter and a two-yard rush in the fourth quarter. Wide tallied 66 yards on 10 carries for the Utes.
Eddie Wide and Matt Asiata each have 23 career rushing touchdowns, which is tied for third all-time at Utah.
Brian Blechen made his team-leading third interception of the season with 1:22 left in the fourth quarter in the end zone.
Greg Bird blocked a punt in the fourth quarter. It was recovered by Christian Cox and would lead to a Utah touchdown.
Chaz Walker made his first interception of the season in the fourth quarter. He has two career picks, the last coming in 2008.
Eleven different receivers caught passes for Utah, led by 63 yards on three catches for Jereme Brooks.
Brandon Burton had a career-high seven tackles.
