SALT LAKE CITY - The 49th-ranked Utah women's tennis team (9-8, 3-2 MWC) heads to Colorado to take on 36th-ranked Denver (12-4, 1-0 SBC) Wednesday, April 8, at the Stapleton Tennis Pavilion at noon.
"Denver battles hard at every position," said head coach Mat Iandolo. "They are a very competitive program and we are looking forward to the challenge. It would be great to go in, get a win and upset them."
Last year the Utes dropped a close 4-3 decision to the Pioneers at home.
Utah is looking to rebound against Denver after two tough conference losses in Texas this past weekend. The Utes fell to 28th-ranked TCU, 6-1 and 4-3 to New Mexico.
The Pioneers' last action came in a 7-0 sweep of Montana on March 29.
