Utah Men's Tennis Prepares For MWC Championships

Men's Tennis MWC Tournament Bracket 
SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah men's tennis team (16-8, 4-2 MWC) tied for second place in the Mountain West Conference this year. The Utes head to the MWC tournament as the No. 3 seeded team. The tournament will take place in Albuquerque, NM at the Jerry Cline Tennis Center April 23-25.
"This is the part of the season that we have been playing for all season," said assistant coach Roeland Brateanu. "If we play well and compete hard anything is possible."
The Utes will face UNLV the No. 6 seed in the quarterfinal round beginning April 23 at 1 p.m. MT. If Utah wins their quarterfinal match they will move onto the semifinals to play the winner of the New Mexico/Airforce match on Friday beginning at 2 p.m. MT.
