Ferris Ranked No. 88 in Pre-Season Poll

SALT LAKE CITY - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released the pre-season singles and doubles rankings for women's tennis on Sept. 7. Elizabeth Ferris has been ranked No. 88 in the nation after a 19-2 finish to last season.
Ferris, a senior from Anaheim, Calif., makes an appearance on the ITA pre-season rankings after a phenomenal finish to the 2006-07 season. The Ute had a stand out year, posting wins over several highly ranked opponents including a win over Anca Anastasiu from the University of Southern California that was ranked No. 49 at the time. Ferris also made an appearance in the Riviera/ITA All-American Tournament held in October of 2006.
