LOGAN, Utah -- The University of Utah cross country team finished third out of five teams at the Utah State Open here this afternoon. The Utes' third-place finish was powered by freshman Lauren Lewis who finished fourth in clocking the 5K course in 17:50.2.
In all the Utes had three top-16 finishers in tallying 64 points. Weber State won the event with 43 points as the Wildcats were led by the first-place effort of Sariah Long (17:17.7).
