SALT LAKE CITY - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released the latest FILA College Tennis Rankings on Tuesday Morning with three Utes making an appearance on the lists.
Zach Ganger is currently ranked No. 52 in singles play with a 13-7 singles season record before entering into the Mountain West Conference Tennis Tournament that is scheduled for April 25-28, 2007.
Ganger also appears in the doubles rankings with partner Miron Mann. The duo has compiled a 15-4 dual record this season. Ganger and Mann have earned a No. 48 national ranking after shutting down then No. 14 Markus Dickhardt and Christian Grob from San Diego State on April 6, 2007.
Elizabeth Ferris is making a return to the rankings after defeating two ranked opponents back-to-back. The Ute dominated then No. 58 Anna Sydorska from TCU 6-1, 6-3, followed by a big win over previously ranked No. 119 Ola Abou-Zekry from New Mexico 6-4, 6-7(6), 10-8. Ferris is 18-2 in dual match play as she heads into the MWC Championships.
