THIS WEEK
The University of Utah men's tennis team will be traveling to Provo, Utah on Saturday to take on BYU. The match will be held at the Cougars' outdoor tennis facility for an afternoon battle that is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. MST.
OPPOSITION
The Cougars are currently ranked No. 70 by the ITA, who released the latest rankings on April 10, 2007. Christian Hand, a senior from Placentia, Calif., will lead the squad against the Utes on Saturday. The Cougar currently holds a 21-9 overall record. Last week, the Cougars played No. 48 San Diego State for a 4-3 loss, and then dominated Air Force 7-0.
UTE NOTES
The University of Utah men's tennis team is currently ranked No. 72 by the ITA. The Utes have racked up a 12-9 overall record, and are 2-3 in conference play. No. 57 Zach Ganger will lead the Utes on Saturday against the Cougars. The Ute is currenlty 13-6 in dual match play, and has a 27-9 overall record for the season.
Last week, the Utes played No. 48 San Diego State for a 4-3 loss, and then dominated Air Force 7-0.
