THIS WEEK
The University of Utah men's tennis team will be on the road this weekend in California to play UC Riverside and Dartmouth College. On Saturday the Utes will face UC Riverside in Riverside, Calif. at 1:00 p.m. The Utes will then travel to San Diego, Calif. to face Dartmouth Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
OPPOSITION
UC Riverside has an 8-3 overall record going into the weekend's competition. The squad holds an 8-1 home advantage and is 0-2 in away matches. The Highlanders were last seen against No. 21 California Baptist University for a 4-3 win.
Dartmouth College is currently undefeated this season with a perfect 9-0 winning streak. They are 7-0 at home and 2-0 in away matches. In their last competition, the Big Greens dominated Boston College 7-0. The squad will be led by David Waslen at the No. 1 slot.
UTE NOTES
The University of Utah men's tennis team is fresh off of 6-1 win over Montana State-Bozeman on March 9. The Utes are ranked No. 63 by the ITA, who released the lastest rankings on March 13. Zach Ganger (55) will lead the Utes in this weekend's competition. In doubles play, Ganger is ranked No. 43 by the ITA with partner Miron Mann.
COMING UP
The Utes will remain in California after their match against Dartmouth College on Sunday. The team will face No. 64 Princeton on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. and the University of San Diego on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. Both matches will be played in the San Diego, Calif. area.
