Utah Cross Country Has A Week Off

THIS WEEK The Utes have this weekend off for soem extra training to get ready for their home meet the Utah Fall Twilight.
LAST WEEK The Utes were in Bozeman, Mont. for the Montana State Bobcat Invitatioanl. The Utes placed fifth overall with Becky Mackelprang pacing the Utes with a 13th place finish.
UTE NOTES The Utes raced well at the Montana Bobcat Invitational last weekend placing fifth with a total of 105 team points. Freshman Becky Mackelprang who placed 13th, led the Utes in the three mile race.
Also scoring for the Utes was Chelsea DSiGrazia (19th, 18:14), Alyssa Abbot (20th, 18:16),Stephanie Skoreyko (24th, 18:38), Kellie Anderson (29th, 19:02),Lauren Endersen (31st, 19:07), and Janette Ern (34th, 19:17).
KEPLER'S QUOTES "We will use this week off to continue to develop as a team." Coach Kyle Kepler says, "Were going to have some high intensity training planned and try to rethink our goals and determine if we are on track. We plan to take this week day-by-day and prepare for next week."
NEXT WEEK The Utes will host the Utah Fall Twilight on Fri. Sept. 29. The 6k race is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Rose Park Golf Course. The teams participating include Air Force, BYU, Nevada, UVSC, Weber State, andn Westminster.
