Utah Women's Tennis Announces 2006-07 Schedule

SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah women's tennis team has released the spring and fall schedule for the 2006-07 season.
The preseason tournaments begin on Thursday, Sept. 21 with the BYU Invitational in Provo, Utah, while the dual meet matches start on Thursday, Jan. 25 with a home match against Washington State.
Highlighting the home schedule for this season, the Utes will host the ITA Central Regional tournament again this year on Oct. 18-22 at Eccles Tennis Center.
The Utes will face several ranked teams during their regular spring season this year. Highlights include No. 54 Kansas State in February, No. 49 Oklahoma State in March, and conference rival No. 15 TCU in April. The ITA last released overall rankings on May 26, 2006.
