This Week
The University of Utah women's tennis team will play two more conference meets this weekend against New Mexico and TCU. The Utes will face New Mexico on Friday, and TCU on Saturday. Both meets are scheduled to start at noon at a neutral site in Provo, Utah.
The Opposition
New Mexico has been ranked No. 40 by the ITA. Playing for the Lobos is No. 39 Maja Kovacek and No. 92 Iva Gersic. New Mexico has an overall record of 12-3, and are undefeated 3-0 in conference play.
TCU is currently ranked No. 25. The team has a 12-6 overall record, and are also undefeated 3-0 in conference play. Playing for the Horned Frogs is No. 12 Nicole Leimbach, No. 33 Helena Besovic, and No. 119 Ana Cetnik.
Ute Notes
The University of Utah women's tennis team is not currently ranked by the ITA. The Utes have a 9-7 season record, and are 0-3 for conference play. The ITA has ranked sophomore Elizabeth Ferris No. 74 in singles play.
