THIS WEEK:
The Unviersity of Utah men's tennis team is getting ready for the MWC Tournament that will be held April 26-29 in San Diego, Calif.
LAST WEEK:
The Utes played three consecutive conferences matches against BYU, TCU, and New Mexico. After losing to BYU (2-5) and TCU (1-6) on Thursday and Friday, Utah came back to defeat the New Mexico Lobos on Saturday 4-3.
UTE NOTES:
The ITA rankings changed on April 18, placing the Utes at No. 59. Utah has an overall record of 14-9 and is 2-4 in conference play this season. Doubles team Nick Coutts and Zach Ganger also received a new ranking by the ITA. The duo is now ranked No. 24 with a 17-3 season record.
MWC CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULE:
Utah will begin competition in the MWC Tournament on Thursday, April 27 at 3:00 p.m. (PST). The No. 4 seeded Utes will face the No. 5 seeded UNLV Rebels. The winner of the match will face No. 1 seeded San Diego State on Friday, April 28 at 2:00 p.m. (PST).
