SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah women's tennis team was challenged today by No. 37 University of Oregon. The meet ended in a 2-5 loss for Utah. The Utes' Emily Kwok played a great singles match at the No. 2 spot against Anna Olivos. Kwok walked away with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 win. Bringing the second win of the day for Utah was freshman Karine Bourdages. Playing at the No. 6 singles spot, Bourdages defeated Claudia Hirt from Oregon 6-3, 6-4.
COMING UP FOR THE UTES
The University of Utah women's tennis team will start their conference play on the road next week. The Utes will face San Diego State on Friday and will play UNLV on Saturday. Both matches will be held in Las Vegas, Nev.
