SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah men's tennis team had another closeout performance today against the University of Idaho for a 7-0 victory sweep. Utah's Ryan Scott played well at the No. 2 doubles spot with teammate Nick Coutts, earning them an 8-4 win over Timothy Huynh and Paulo Miranda of Idaho. "Ryan Scott played about the best doubles game of his career today," says assistant coach Graeme Cox. "We are happy that his hard work and dedication to work on improving this aspect of his game is paying off."
"It was a good way to kick off our spring break with a win over Idaho today. The guys played well and were motivated to do well," says Cox about Utah's win today. "We have had a couple of weeks to work on our games and now the season really kicks into gear with a heavy schedule of matches coming up."
