Ferris and Walsh represent Utah in Regional Rankings

SALT LAKE CITY - The ITA's fall edition of the singles and doubles regional rankings were released today for the Central Region. Elizabeth Ferris and Leigh Walsh appeared on the list to represent the University of Utah women's tennis team.
Ferris, a junior from Anaheim, Calif., placed No. 8 in the region this fall in singles. In doubles play she is ranked No. 14 with partner Walsh, a sophomore from Dublin, Ireland.
The Utes ended the 2005-06 season with two players representing the team. Ferris ended the season ranked No. 6, and Emily Kwok ended the year with a regional ranking of No. 29
COMING UP FOR THE UTES
The University of Utah women's tennis team will open the 2007 season with the Utah Invitational held January 12-14, 2007. Dual matches will begin on January 25, 2007 against Washington State at home.
