- Utah now leads the all-time series with Cal Poly 2-0. This is the first game in the series to be played in Salt Lake City. Ray Giacoletti has coached the Utes in both games in the series to even his personal record to 2-2 versus the Mustangs.
- The Utes have won their last four home games to improve to 4-2 in the Huntsman Center this season.
- Utah's 40 first-half points was a season-high, topping its 39-point output in the first half against Southern Utah on Nov. 10. The Utes' 20-point halftime lead was also its biggest this season, bettering its 15-point margin against Washington State (36-21) on Dec. 2.
- The Utes have shot 50 percent or better from three-point range in six of the nine games this season.

- Green set a career high in assists (8) and tied his career-best mark in rebounds (9). His previous best mark was six assists against TCU on March 1, 2006. He had nine rebounds twice before.
