"This is the third year the University of Utah has been able to host this event, and playing such a big event at home is great for our program and players," said Ute women's tennis head coach Megan Dorny. "Elizabeth Ferris, who has had a good fall season thus far, is expected to be a high seed in the main draw of this event; Leigh Walsh and Emily Kwok will also be represented in the main draw. We will have at least five others of our team represented in the Qualifying Draw all of whom will have a good chance to get into the main draw and do very well. The coaching staff is excited to see our Utes in action."
