THIS WEEK The Utes will travel to Fayetteville Ark. for the 18th annual Chili Pepper Invitational. The 6k open run will begin at 10:30 am on Sat. Oct. 14th.
LAST WEEK The Utes have had a week off to prepare for the Chili Pepper Invitational and to prepare for the upcoming weeks of competition.
UTE NOTES This will be the final week of tough training for the Utes in order to give them a break and rest for the Mountain West Conference Championships in two weeks.
KEPLER'S QUOTES "This week I feel confident this will be our best race of the year," Coach Kyle Kepler says. "We continue to make strides and improve on the road to the championships."
"Last year at the Chili Pepper Invitational all of our runners recorded a personal best as we placed 21st of 38 teams." Kepler ends with; "This is going to be a challenging meet and we need to do well, not only for the athletes but to build up the program in the upcoming seasons."
NEXT WEEK The Utes will have a week off to prepare for the Mountain West Conference Championships hosted at Rose Park Golf Course in Salt Lake City.
