THIS WEEK: The University of Utah men's tennis team will be playing instate rivals from Utah State and Weber State this Friday. The double header event will take place at the Eccles Tennis Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Utes will face Weber State at noon, followed by Utah State at 5:00 p.m.
Reviewing Last week: The Utes played at the ITA Regional Indoor Qualifier in Boise, Idaho last Saturday. The No. 72 ranked Utes were able to beat No. 28 Boise State in the semifinals.
Quoting Assistant Coach Graeme Cox: "We are looking forward to our doubleheader with our instate rivals Weber State and Utah State. Two matches in one day is always a tough task for the team and everyone will be asked to contribute on Friday with a couple of guys still nursing injuries. Hopefully our experience that we gained up in Boise this past weekend will help us in regard to playing two matches in one day and coming out of it okay."
