The Utes play in the BYU Invitational Thursday through Saturday at the BYU Outdoor Tennis Courts. Thursday's matches start at 10:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday's matches start at 9:00 a.m.
The Opposition
The teams joining Utah in the tournament field are Boise State, BYU, Colorado State, Utah State, and Weber State.
Ute Notes
The Utes went 13-13 last season and placed fifth in the Mountain West Conference ... seven letterwinners return from 2004-05, including sophomores Emily Kwok and Elizabeth Ferris, who were named all-Mountain West Conference in singles ... Megan Dorny is returning for her fourth season as Utah's head coach.

"The team has been working on core strengthening, consistency, placement, and fundamentals to improve ourselves this year. This tournament is our opportunity to see how our girls and other schools' teams are doing. The team wants to compete well and make a statement about who we are."
