Academic All-MWC Women's Tennis Team Announced

SALT LAKE CITY - Eight members of the University of Utah women's tennis team have been named to the 2005 spring semester Academic All-Mountain West team.
To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
Making the team were Lisa Blomquist of Salt Lake City (Fr., 3.84 GPA, Business), Whitney Eber of Naples, Fla., (So., 3.01 GPA, Exercise and Sport Science), Tamarin Espinoza of Fontana, Calif. (Fr., 3.09 GPA, Mass Communication), Allison Hansen of Salt Lake City (Jr., 3.54 GPA, Health Education), Cheyenne Reveche of Canoga Park, Calif. (Fr., 3.52 GPA, Undeclared), Cinthia Saucedo of Puebla, Mexico (So., 3.53 GPA, Exercise and Sport Science), Jessica Watts of St. George, Utah, (So., 3.43 GPA, Undeclared), and Ashley Young of Orem, Utah (So., 3.91 GPA, Undeclared).
