Women's Tennis MWC Scholar-Athlete Recipients Announced

SALT LAKE CITY - Six members of the University of Utah women's tennis team have been named 2004-05 Mountain West Conference Scholar-Athlete Award winners.
To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least two semesters or three quarters at the certifying institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better, and have completed in at least one varsity contest in their respective sport.
Making the team were Lisa Blomquist of Salt Lake City (Fr., 3.84 GPA, Business), Allison Hansen of Salt Lake City (Jr., 3.54 GPA, Health Education), Cheyenne Reveche of Canoga Park, Calif. (Fr., 3.52 GPA, Undeclared), Cinthia Saucedo of Puebla, Mexico (So., 3.53 GPA, Exercise and Sport Science), Jessica Watts of St. George, Utah, (So., 3.85 GPA, Undeclared), and Ashley Young of Orem, Utah (So., 3.91 GPA, Undeclared).
