Jacksonville, Fla. - The University of Utah women's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to the Jacksonville Dolphins today at the Alexander Brest Tennis Courts.
Utah won the doubles point by taking the No. 1 and 2. Allison Hansen and Liz Ferris defeated Nisrine Hajbane and Lena Willi (8-6) while Whitney Eber and Emily Know dispatched Dana Antonioli and Daphen Bourot (8-1).
The Utes lost the edge in singles when they only managed to pick up two wins. At No. 3, Emily Kwok won in the super tiebreaker (4-6, 6-1, 10-3) over Bourot. Cinthia Saucedo has a decisive victory over Megan Williams at No. 6 (6-0, 6-2).
