Salt Lake City, Utah - The Wilson/ ITA Central Regional Tournament continues without the Utes' participation. Emily Kwok and Elizabeth Ferris represented Utah in the singles competition, and in doubles play was Leigh Walsh and Kwok. After defeating No. 6 seed Lauren Jones of BYU in the round of 32, 7-6, 6-4, Ferris was defeated by Tatiana Ganzha of Boise State in the round of 16, 2-6, 6-3, 7-5.
Kwok was defeated in the round of 32 by No. 8 seed Kim Hartmann of Nebraska, 6-2, 6-3. Christine Abayan and Kat Bushey of Air Force defeated duo Kwok and Walsh in the round of 16, 9-8
The Wilson/ ITA Central Regional Tournament continues through Sunday at the Eccles Tennis Center
