SALT LAKE CITY - University of Utah Head Ski Coach Kevin Sweeney today announced that 17 alpine and cross country skiers have been named to the athletic academic honor roll (3.0 GPA or higher) for the spring semester. Of those 17, Rowena Hyldahl, Lina Johansson, Ashley McQueen, Gaspar Perricone and Anna Sprague were named to the Dean's List after earning a 3.5 GPA or higher with the required amount of credits.

"Our academic performance this semester has been truly outstanding," remarked Sweeney. "The team did a fantastic job of managing a rigorous competition schedule and balancing academics. I'm very proud of this group. They are 100 percent focused on achieving excellence on and off the race course. This makes us all feel good about the hard work we have invested. JoAnn Hulbert-Eagan, our academic advisor, has done a tremendous job orchestrating the academics for this team."
