THIS WEEK: The University of Utah men's tennis team travels to Las Vegas this weekend to open up conference play against San Diego State on Friday, April 2 and UNLV on Saturday, April 3.
REVIEWING LAST WEEK: The Utes claimed a 7-0 victory over Northern Arizona University at home on Friday, March 27. Utah swept the doubles and won all singles matches in straight set. The team improved to 9-8 on the season.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION: San Diego State, under Head Coach Gene Carswell, has a No. 64 national ranking and a 7-4 mark on the season. The Aztecs take on their first conference opponents this weekend. Senior Felix Hardt received Mountain West Conference Player of the Week honors last week for the second time in his career.
UNLV also opens up conference play this weekend. The Rebels are coached by Owen Hambrook and have compiled a 9-6 record this season.
