NCAA Hands Out Tournament Bids Sunday

SALT LAKE CITY - The No. 19-ranked University of Utah volleyball team will find out its postseason plans on Sunday evening when the NCAA hands out its bids to the 2004 NCAA Volleyball Tournament.
ESPNews will air the volleyball selection show this Sunday at 4:45 p.m. Automatic bids, at-large bids and the first and second round sites will all be announced at that time.
The Utes have made six straight appearances in the NCAA tournament, making a Sweet 16 showing in 2001. Utah is 24-6 overall this season and co-regular season Mountain West Conference champions. The automatic bid from the MWC goes to Colorado State, which beat Utah in the conference tournament title match.
