Salt Lake City - The University of Utah men's tennis team completed its second day of competition at the Utah Invitational.
Utes Zach Ganger and Miron Mann were victorious in the singles quarterfinals and will advance. Ganger dispatched Colorado State's Peter Bjork in three sets (1-6, 7-5, 6-4). Miron Mann also took care of his opponent, Beck Roghar of Boist State in three sets (6-2, 2-6, 6-4).
Ganger and Mann will play each other in the singles semifinals tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. The winner will advance to the finals scheduled at noon.
In doubles play, Ganger and Mann experienced the same success, defeating Boise State duo Nils Klemman and Beck Roghar (8-2). Ganger and Mann will take on Peter Bjork and Chad Tsuda of Colorado State in the doubles finals tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.
Singles consoloation finals will take place at noon. Doubles consolation finals are scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
