LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The University of Utah men's tennis team wrapped up the second day of competition at the ITA Regional Championships.
Sophomore Miron Mann defeated Colorado's Charlie Yemm in the second round singles (6-2, 6-3). Junior Tomasz Grzyb and freshman Zach Ganger were also victorious. Grzyb dispatched Utah State's Dantely Young (6-2, 6-1) and Ganger conquered Denver's Niklas Persson in three sets (6-7, 6-4, 6-4).
In the third round singles, only Mann came out with a win, (6-4, 0-6, 6-3) over New Mexico's Danilo Zivanovic.
Later Mann fell to UNLV's Henner Nehles (6-1, 6-4) in the quarterfinals.
