THIS WEEK: The University of Utah men's tennis team, 8-11 overall and 1-2 in the conference, will wrap up their conference schedule this weekend as they will meet New Mexico and Air Force in Colorado Springs this weekend.
Scouting the Opposition: Coming into the weenend, New Mexico was ranked 53rd in the nation. They are 10-6 on the season, 2-0 in the conference. Air Force has been strong on the year, with a 17-3 overall record and are 1-1 in the conference.
Reviewing Last Week: The Utes went 1-1 last week, defeating UNLV 5-2 and losing 7-0 to San Diego State.
Ute Notes: Mike Bullard, a walk-on freshman, made his debut for the Utes last week as he filled in for an injured Kaisorn Chaichana at number six singles. He was 1-1 in singles, with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Mike Barber of UNLV.
Quoting Assistant Coach Graeme Cox: "We have a difficult road trip against Air Force and New Mexico this week. We are hoping to turn some of our good play and close matches into wins. The team is starting to peak at the right time, and with a little confidence will be hard to beat."
