This Week: The University of Utah women's tennis team is set to resume conferecne play this week, as they will travel to Albuquerque to face New Mexico and Air Force. (The Utes faced Mountain West Conference foe Brigham Young earlier in the season.) New Mexico is ranked 49th in the nation and owns an 8-8 record. Air Force is 10-8 on the season. The matches are set for the 28th and 29th, and the start times have yet to be announced.
Utes To Watch: Ellen Svensson is coming off a strong performance agianst Kathy Boyonivich of South Carolina. Svensson, competing in number one singles, defeated Boyonivich 7-6 (2), 2-6, (10-8).
Quoting Head Coach Megan Dorny: "We are excited to get into our conference play as well as our outdoor season this weekend. The team will really need to come together for the doubles and we will need the bottom of our singles line-up to be strong this weekend against UNM and AF. I was happy with the improvements in doubles we made over the weekend and hope to see further improvements in the upcoming week."
Coming Up: The Utes will continue with the conference schedule next weekend, as they will host UNLV and San Diego State on April 4 and 5, respectively.
