MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.- The University of Utah is tied for 48th place at the U.S. Nationals with seven points. Four swimmers are representing the Utes at the meet. On Friday March 22, Evan Castro and Tessa Greegor competed in the 100 breast. Castro finished second in the "B" final of the 100 breast with a time of 1:05.75, which was good enough to place him 10th overall in the event. Greegor finished sixth in the "B" final of the 100 breast with a mark of 1:13.97, placing her 14th overall.
On Thursday March 21, Neringa Statkeviciute competed in the 200 free. Statkeviciute failed to make the finals by finishing 55th in the preliminary round with a time of 2:08.47. She will compete in the 50 free today, while Cody Rempfer will compete in the 200 IM.
