PROVO, Utah-- - On the last day of the BYU Invitational, the doubles tandem of Roeland Brateanu and Tomasz gryzb fell 5-8 to the top-seeded pairing of Carlos Lozano and Eric Nyman from BYU. Brateanu and Gryzb were seeded 12th in the tournament. It was a great showing, considering that Lozano and Nyman were also in the finals for the singles draw. In the back draw, Roeland Brateanu fell in three sets to Alonzo Medina of BYU, 6-2, 6-7 (5), 5-7. Medina met Ute sophomore Daniel Lohff in the finals, were Lohff captured the first set 7-6 (6) in a tiebreaker. He dropped the second set 3-6, then won the third set 6-3 to gain the victory.
